For
the LGA, we have organised & managed over sixty one-day and
residential events on various topics including Education, Health,
Housing, Community Cohesion, Climate Change, to name a few. For the
IDeA amongst many other events, we have managed their programme of
Beacon Learning Exchange conferences which are held annually both in London and the regions. In 2004 Event-X organised the Housing Corporation’s 40th
Anniversary celebrations. This involved arranging gala film screenings
on two consecutive evenings with the Deputy Prime Minister as guest
speaker. During 2003, the CfPS, then, a newly formed organisation
appointed Event-X to organise and manage their first Annual Conference.
The conference exceeded all expectations of numbers attending and was
hugely successful. Many of the events we organise have involved high
profile keynote speakers such as the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of London ,
Ken Livingstone and Nicky Gavron, Lord Putnam, Jeremy Paxman, Phil
Redmond and many senior Government Ministers including David Miliband,
Margaret Hodge, Tony McNulty, Dr Stephen Ladyman.
